Kim Vining focuses primarily on estate planning and probate, helping clients navigate these important and often complex areas of law with confidence and care.
Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, Kim earned her B.S. in Biology from Southern Nazarene University in 2002 before graduating with Dean’s Honors from Washburn University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, she demonstrated leadership and initiative by participating in the Women’s Legal Forum and the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association.
Kim is an active and respected member of the legal community. She belongs to the Wichita and Kansas Bar Associations, as well as the Wichita Women Attorneys Association, where she served as President from 2014 to 2015. She is also a member and past President of the Wichita Estate Planning Council (2014-2015). Beyond her legal work, Kim has contributed to the Wichita community through her service on the Board of the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum, including Co-Chairing the Art & Book Fair (2008-2009) to support the museum.
Kim’s commitment to her community extends beyond her professional accomplishments. She was a member of the Leadership Wichita Class of 2010 and continues to give back as a Board member and Vice President (2024-2025) of Breakthrough Episcopal Social Services. In addition, she is deeply involved in her children’s education, serving as the Parent Teacher Organization President for 2024-2025.
