Diana Stanley

Diana Stanley is a Wichita native and graduated from Newman University (B.A. History, 2017) and the University of Kansas (Juris Doctorate, 2020) where she earned the Environmental and Natural Resources Law certificate. While in law school she received the Hershberger Energy Law Award and came in second at the National Environmental Moot Court Competition. Diana has published several articles on the topics of natural resources, environmental, and property law. She is a member of the Kansas Title Standards Committee and is a co-author of the Oil & Gas Law Chapter of the Annual Survey of Law published annually by the Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas Chapter of the Annual Update on Oil and Gas Exploration and Production published annually by the American Bar Association.

Diana is an active member of the legal community. She was named the Kansas Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer of 2024 and serves on the Board of Governors as the Young Lawyer Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. She is on the Bar Journal of Editors and a member of the Diversity Committee. Locally, she has served as a co-chair for the Wichita Bar Association’s Professional Diversity Committee and on the young lawyer board. She is also active in the Kansas Women Attorney Association and the Wichita Women Attorney Association. In addition to her work with the legal community, Diana serves on the governing bodies of Newman University, the Museum of World Treasures, and the Audubon of Kansas. She was a member of the Kansas Chamber’s Emerging Leaders Class of 2023.
